BROWNIE ALA MODE'






My children love to treat on this whenever we visit ******(can't reveal the name), I tried it at home and don't want to take away their credits but it does really make my children stay back home and love their mama's food.

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE BROWNIE:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 cups chopped dark chocolate
  • ½ tsp baking pwd
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup curd (beaten)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts


METHOD:
  1. Grease a 6” shallow, microwave safe bowl and keep aside.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda and keep aside.
  3. In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate pieces and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  4.  Remove and stir lightly to get a smooth mixture. Keep aside.
  5. In another bowl, beat together butter and sugar till creamy.
  6. Add the melted chocolate to the butter mixture and mix lightly.
  7. Add the curds, vanilla essence, flour mixture and walnuts and mix lightly.
  8. Pour the batter into the greased and lined dish and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  9. Reduce the temperature to medium power and microwave for another 1 minute. Remove and allow to cool.


PLATING:
  • Brownies cut into desired shapes and size.
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Raspberry jelly (make according to instructions on cover)
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Rice crispies(opt)
  • Grated chocolate


DIRECTIONS:
  1. On a plate, place a piece of brownie.
  2. Scoop on top some vanilla ice cream.
  3. Squeeze some chocolate sauce on top and top it  with grated chocolate, rice crispies and some jelly.
  4. Store the brownies in refrigerator and whenever you wish to make the sundae just pre heat it in microwave.
